Working with Today Is A Good Day

As a company focused on improving both safety and the NICU experience for patients and families, we were thrilled to partner with Today is a Good Day (TIAGD). As you continue reading, you’ll learn about all that TIAGD has to offer NICU families.

TIAGD works with Keriton to help care teams reach more families through a variety of channels.

  • Hospital staff can send SMS blasts to parents’ for large events.
  • Hospital staff can push out timely notifications as reminders for events in the NICU.
  • Hospitals that have already partnered with TIAGD, can put their customized content right into our Kare Mom app for parents and patient families to discover and access.

We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with TIAGD and other organizations to help positively impact more families through Kare Mom and the Keriton platform.

More About Today Is A Good Day

The mission of Today is a Good Day is to provide personal and financial support for families who experience the NICU. We deliver on our mission through a number of different programs.

To launch any of the programs listed below at your hospital, please contact TIAGD at www.todayisagoodday.org/contact

Care Packages For Families

Families admitted to the NICU with a premature or sick baby are overwhelmed with emotions, paperwork, and difficult decisions. Today is a Good Day provides families with tangible and meaningful items as they kick off their NICU journey.

The Today is a Good Day care packages include carefully selected items and personal stories from families who have experienced the NICU. The stories help families currently navigating the NICU know they are not alone. Others have traveled this path before them. To view what is included in the care packages visit https://www.todayisagoodday.org/care-packages.

Navigate The NICU Sessions

These sessions hosted virtually or at Today is a Good Day partner hospitals provide opportunities for parents currently navigating the NICU to share their journey, meet a NICU graduate, and, most importantly, connect with others that understand their current experience.

Today is a Good Day has received feedback from families about the impact of the Navigate the NICU sessions and this is what they have to say:

“It felt like taking a timeout from NICU life.”

“The most helpful aspects are just being able to share your journey with other parents”

Today Is A Good Day Preemie Shirts

When you welcome an extremely premature baby, they are not able to wear clothes until they can regulate their body temperature. Finally being able to wear clothes is such a huge milestone!

Today is a Good Day partners with Magnetic Me to provide “Today is a Good Day” shirts for the nurses and medical teams to give to parents when their baby is able to wear clothes for the first time.

Clinicians have found that their Today is a Good Day partnership has benefitted both families and hospital staff. See what they have to say:

“Our partnership with Today Is A good Day and our NICU has been very beneficial to our families. They appreciate the care packages and support available. One parent said “it feels good knowing we’re not alone on this journey!”

“The support and advocacy from TIAGD has been remarkable for the NICU families and nursing staff. The financial support has allowed us to help parents in the NICU celebrate their baby’s milestones throughout this journey.”
